Hi-BA Clubs
Not a Christian but curious? Or a Christian, but not able to get together with other Christian high school students? Hi-BA just might be the place for you.
High school students are gathering every week in after-school Hi-BA clubs throughout the Kanto, Kansai, and Tokai regions of Japan for worship, sharing, prayer, and digging into the Bible. Clubs are held at the Hi-BA Center in Shibuya and in rented facilities in over 25 other key locations, usually convenient to train stations for easy access. Hi-BA clubs are designed with you in mind, giving you space and time to hang out, go deeper with Jesus, interact with other students, and be encouraged in your faith walk.
Hi-BA staff teach and lead discussions on all kinds of topics, from the basics of the Gospel and discipleship to dating relationships and choosing a college. You'll have an opportunity to grow in your faith as you discuss issues and challenges from your life in the club setting, in small groups, or one-on-one.
International Hi-BA
Currently one International Hi-BA club exists for English speaking students. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:45pm in Higashi Kurume, at Matsukawa Place. You can find us here.

Discipleship / Accountability Groups
Often referred to as "AGs", this is where the real life-changing stuff happens. As you form relationships with other students and your group leader, you begin to sharpen one another "as iron sharpens iron." You'll never be the same. Chances are, you'll keep coming back for more as you go deeper with God and deeper in relationship with others.
Some AGs are one-on-one and some are small groups. Some are led by Hi-BA staff or volunteers; others are led by upperclassmen. Some meet before school at coffee shops, some meet in the school cafeteria during lunch hour, and some after school or on the weekend. Whatever the case, you'll probably find yourself wanting more as you experience the encouragement, prayer, accountability, Bible study, and sharing that takes place on a weekly basis. And the friendships you make in an AG - some of those will last a lifetime!
If you want to join a disipleship/accountability group, please fill out the Discipleship/Accountability Request Form.
